Seminar Series - guidelines on format / presentations
New Associates

Welcome!!
The East of Scotland KTP Centre represents 6 universities - one of which is the university that your company is partnered with. It will be your supervisors, Momenta and advisers who will have regular contact with you and the day to day running of your programmes , however we are delighted to point you in the right direction on any queries you may have.
The 4 Scottish Centres (North, West, East & Tayside) organise an Associate Seminar Series which runs throughout the year - this gives all Associates the chance to deliver a presentation based on their work to a small friendly audience. It also alows non-presenting Associates to meet other Associates from all over Scotland, network and observe the set up of these events. There is normally one each month, in either Glasgow, Edinburgh or Aberdeen.
In addition to this the Centre has begun running small NVQ workshops a few times a year. In order to keep Associates up to date with events, we'd ask that you complete the following registration form below - this will allow the Centre to contact you with details of seminars and workshops.

KTP Associate Seminars Series - Associate Guidelines
The Seminar series aims to help KTP Associates enhance their written and oral presentation skills and provides an excellent networking opportunity. It also allows the details of the project to be disseminated whilst promoting Knowledge Transfer Partnerships to a wider audience. In attendance will be members of the KTP community and possibly those from the business academic sectors along with representatives from economic development agencies. All Associates are expected to give a presentation on their Knowledge Transfer Partnership at one of the series of KTP Seminars.
Your local KTP Centre will contact you with details of the Seminar at which you will be expected to present. Your presentation will be 12-15 minutes in lenght and should cover your background, an introduction to the company and the nature and results of your programme. It is intended that your presentation be preceded by a brief contextualising introduction by your Company Supervisor (or stand in).
In order that a programme can be produced you will be asked to supply a title for your presentation and a synopsis (50-100 words). You will also be asked what AV equipment you require for your presentation.
Invitations to the Seminar are distributed by email.
