How the Centre can help

The East of Scotland KTP Centre is a collaboration between the Universities of Edinburgh, Stirling & St Andrews; Edinburgh Napier, Heriot-Watt and Queen Margaret Universities.

The East of Scotland KTP centre will work with your organisation to help you:

  • define your requirements
  • identify appropriate university partners
  • define the project
  • prepare the proposal for submission
  • facilitate the KTP funding process
  • recruitment and support the Associate
  • administer the project

Whether a commercial or public organisation or university academic, whether you have established industry/university links or not, the Centre aims to help and support you at every step of the process.

At any one time the Centre is involved in managing approximately 30 projects involving our partner institutions and businesses all over Scotland and across the UK.

Our eleven years of experience allow us to bring our knowledge of over 180 projects to each new partnership. Find out how organisations have benefitted from KTP by accessing our case study library from the main menu.

At the East of Scotland KTP Centre we welcome all enquires relating to KTP projects whether from a prospective company partner, an interested academic, new associates or anyone with a general interest in KTP.
