Our KTP Centre is a gateway through which ambitious businesses can access the world class knowledge and expertise within our partner universities to drive innovation and growth while enabling academics to participate in direct impact application of their expertise.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP)

The part grant funded project management framework that cements these relationships is KTP.

KTPs enable companies to work with our academic scientists or engineers on ambitious 1-3 year innovative growth projects with challenging workplans undertaken by highly talented graduates or post-graduates placed inside the company.

Business-Academic Matching Service

Our KTP Centre team finds and matches the right academics to work with companies to develop or improve their products, services or processes or whatever the need might be.
 

Readying KTP Proposals for Submission

Our team also supports nascent business-academic partnerships in defining and refining the project concept and plan ready for a KTP proposal submission.
 

Project Lifetime Support

Once the KTP is approved we provide administrative support for the KTP partners during the life of the project. We also assist in the recruitment of an appropriate able graduates, post graduates or post-doctorates to carry out the project work in the company supported by company and academic supervisors.
